2010 Cornell Classic

Attention all Cornell residents and friends! The 10th Annual Cornell Classic Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday September 18. Please join us!

Date: Saturday September 18, 2010

Time: Tee-offs will be between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. The round will be followed by lunch – non-playing guests are welcome to join us on the 19th hole!

Where: Remington Parkview Golf & Country Club, Steeles Avenue just east of Markham Road.

Cost: $105 includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart and a three-course lunch. $15 for lunch-only.

Skating Rinks 2009/2010

Thank you to the two volunteer groups who built and maintained the two ice rinks in Cornell this year.

Bryan Lambert took charge of the Mews Park ice rink while John Chadwick headed up the White's Hill rink. They managed to find sponsors to fund the construction, find volunteers to help with the maintenance, and keep everything running smoothly. Their efforts, paid off!! I think the community agrees that both rinks were incredibly successful, with skaters using it most days and evenings. Thanks for all of your efforts!
